I would like to get some activity going, so here are some questions/discussion starters. (hopefully) I hope I'm not overstepping any boundaries by doing this.

1. What is one of your favorite animated films growing up that is from a foreign country, if there is one?

2. What are five of your favorite animated films and why do you like them?

3. Do you like any web cartoons? If so, what are they?

4. Do you watch anime? If so, name some of your favorite anime.

5. What are five cartoons that you grew up with that you still enjoy?

Answering my own questions...

1. Vuk the Little Fox (Hungary). This is partially by default- Little Nemo: Adventures In Slumberland (Japan) gave me nightmares as a kid, and The Magic Voyage (Germany) doesn't hold up too well.

2. The Iron Giant- I am always prone to robot feels, anti-war message and all. Once Upon A Forest- An film with environmentalist tones from the 90's that is much more tolerable than most. Cats Don't Dance- A bit of a feel-good film about never giving up on your dreams. Aladdin- Just plain fun! Lilo and Stitch- All the family feels!

3. I like the Rooster Teeth shows RWBY and Nomad of Nowhere

4. I do watch anime, one of my current favorites is Princess Tutu

5. I still enjoy Courage the Cowardly Dog, Pinky and the Brain, The Powerpuff Girls (1998, but that goes without saying), Hey Arnold! (I was so happy when The Jungle Movie was released!), and Static Shock just to name a few.

Once Upon a Forest!! & Oh gosh, Lilo & Stitch almost made it on my top 5 list, I do love it.

Used to love Courage the Cowardly Dog, but haven't rewatched it ... maybe I should ...

Someone else remembers Once Upon a Forest! I loved that one as a kid, though nowadays the scene with the bird stuck in the mud is rather cringeworthy...

Yeah, I loved it when I was a kid!!! Watched it again, recently, and some scenes are ... yeah ... Some of the magic is gone, but I'm still fond of it :'D

I want to say I was really into movies like that, but I can only think of Fern Gully??
